 Atlanta Science Festival

The Atlanta Science Festival is composed of multiple events that bring together people to experience science though events across the city of Atlanta. 

In 2014, Georgia State University participated in the first Atlanta Science Festival. Festival lasted one week, where the campus welcomed the community to enjoy and explore science and technology through multiple hands-on activities.

Studios

++Good Studios is a senior student-run creative agency within the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design at GSU. This group was in charge of establishing a recognizable and versatile identity to promote the Discovery Day, Eureka Screen Series, and Fusion Gallery. events of the Atlanta Science Festival at the university.

During my junior year, I was invited to participate in this creative group helping ideate and execute various assets for the events.

Discovery
Day 2014

The opening event at the Petit Science Center included science, math, art and interactive activities that were open to the public.

Fusion
Gallery

Fusion gallery was an interactive space that explored science in art. There was a collaborative art gallery created by the audience. Drawings emerged from participants listening to the sound of stimuli and brain waves were transformed into music.

Eureka
Series

The Eureka Series consisted of four evening of science-theme screenings from international filmmakers. The screenings included the human mind, fauna, sustainability and a special night with the Science Channel.
